Hi!
My name is Laura Aranda and besides enjoying time with friends, eating some good tacos, and cat enthusiast, I am a designer originally from Mexico. Currently, I am living in the Rotterdam area of the Netherlands, where I founded and am the creative force behind Studio Amargo.
I studied fine arts at A.K.V. St Joost in 's-Hertogenbosch, where I discovered my love for screen printing. This technique has led to a wide range of experiences, from participating in Dutch Design Week and developing a new design language to building art installations using screen print and connecting with creative individuals.
My artistic work is driven by a love for color, shape, and patterns, with a focus on creating a harmonious balance between these elements and the space they inhabit I apply this philosophy across disciplines, including print design, graphic design and illustration. Alongside my design work, I also have experience with DTP (Desktop Publishing) and give creative workshops, with a special focus on screen printing.
Summarizing this, my passion is creating—whether it's through teaching others or exploring my own artistic journey.
